1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern all training services provided by TPG Training Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2 By enrolling in any of our courses, the client (“you”, “your”, “the learner”, or “the business”) agrees to be legally bound by these Terms.
1.3 These Terms apply to all learners, whether individual or business clients, and cover all modes of delivery, including in-person and online training.
2. Course Registration
2.1 Course bookings must be made through our official website.
2.2 A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
2.3 It is the learner’s responsibility to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before enrolling, including:
(a) Providing valid photographic identification;
(b) Sufficient proficiency in written and spoken English; and
(c) Any other course-specific prerequisites listed in the course description.
2.4 Failure to meet eligibility requirements may result in removal from the course without entitlement to a refund.
2.5 Where a course includes mandatory pre-coursework, failure to complete this by the specified deadline will result in removal from the course with no refund. Learners will be required to rebook onto a future course date at the full course price.
2.6 It is the learner’s responsibility to inform TPG Training Academy of any additional support needs, learning requirements, or reasonable adjustments required to complete the course.
2.7 This information must be provided by email to [email protected] at least 14 days prior to the course start date, along with supporting evidence where applicable (e.g. a formal diagnosis, government statement, or official documentation confirming the need for reasonable adjustments).
2.8 Requests received without sufficient notice or documentation may result in limited or unavailable support, which could affect the learner’s ability to complete the course. In such cases, no refunds, transfers, or deferrals will be granted.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Individual learners must pay in full at the time of booking.
3.2 Business clients may request payment via invoice. All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the booking confirmation.
3.3 We reserve the right to withhold:
(a) Access to the course; and
(b) Issuance of any certification
until payment has been received in full.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.1 Learner-Initiated Cancellations
4.1.1 If written notice is provided 14 days or more before the course start date, the learner is entitled to:
(a) One complimentary course transfer.
4.1.2 Cancellations made with fewer than 14 days’ notice are not eligible for a refund.
4.2 Academy-Initiated Cancellations
4.2.1 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to:
(a) Insufficient enrolment;
(b) Trainer unavailability; or
(c) Other unforeseen circumstances.
4.2.2 In the event of cancellation, learners will be offered:
(a) An alternative course date; or
(b) A full refund, at our discretion.
4.3 Refund Requests
4.3.1 Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
4.3.2 Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days via the original method of payment.
4.3.3 Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances:
(a) Non-attendance without prior notice;
(b) Failure to meet eligibility criteria;
(c) Voluntary withdrawal after the course has begun.
5. Course Transfers
5.1 Learners may request a transfer to an alternative course date with at least 14 days’ notice, subject to availability.
5.2 Transfers are subject to a £50 administration fee.
5.3 Only one transfer per booking is permitted. Additional transfers may be:
(a) Declined; or
(b) Subject to further charges.
6. Learner Conduct
6.1 Learners must conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner at all times.
6.2 The following behaviours may result in immediate removal from the course without refund:
(a) Disruptive or aggressive conduct;
(b) Use of abusive or inappropriate language;
(c) Harassment or discrimination of any kind;
(d) Breach of health and safety policies.
6.3 The use, possession, or influence of alcohol or illegal drugs on premises is strictly prohibited.
6.4 Learners are expected to:
(a) Arrive on time and prepared for all sessions;
(b) Participate actively in all course activities;
(c) Follow all trainer instructions and academy policies;
(d) Keep mobile phones on silent and avoid unnecessary disruption during sessions.
7. Attendance and Course Completion
7.1 Learners must:
(a) Attend all scheduled sessions; and
(b) Complete all required assessments, tasks, and examinations.
7.2 Late arrivals or absences may result in:
(a) Disqualification from the course; and
(b) Loss of certification and refund eligibility.
7.3 Certification is subject to:
(a) Full attendance;
(b) Active participation; and
(c) Satisfactory completion of all required components.
7.4 In cases of unavoidable absence (e.g. medical emergency), learners may submit supporting evidence for review. Approval for transfer or deferral is at the academy’s discretion.
7.5 Learners who fail to complete the course for any reason will not be entitled to a certificate or refund.
8. Certification
8.1 Certificates are issued upon full and successful completion of the course.
8.2 Certificates will be issued within 14 working days, subject to any applicable awarding body processing times.
8.3 A £10 reissue fee applies to replacement certificates.
8.4 Certification may be issued by external awarding bodies. TPG Training Academy is not responsible for delays or changes outside our control.
9. Data Protection
9.1 All personal data is handled in accordance with:
(a) The UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR); and
(b) The Data Protection Act 2018.
9.2 Personal data will only be used for:
(a) Course administration;
(b) Certification purposes; and
(c) Marketing communications, where prior consent has been given.
9.3 Learners may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time by contacting us directly.
10. Liability
10.1 TPG Training Academy accepts no responsibility for:
(a) Loss;
(b) Theft; or
(c) Damage to personal belongings on our premises.
10.2 Our total liability for any loss or damage arising out of course attendance is limited to the total course fee paid.
11. Complaints Procedure
11.1 All complaints must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
11.2 We will:
(a) Acknowledge receipt of the complaint within 5 working days; and
(b) Provide a formal response within 14 working days, wherever possible.
11.3 If a response cannot be issued within this timeframe, we will notify the complainant in writing with an estimated resolution date.
11.4 All complaints are handled confidentially and in accordance with our internal quality assurance procedures.
12. Governing Law
12.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
